Tea Time

//New frilled crop top with Cotton On high waisted acid wash shorts (last season)//

This week my darling girl Betty was desexed, she was such a little trooper through it all and is very much on the mend now, it does mean no more mini Betty's though :(

//My new bralette from Spell in Byron Bay and the new Frankie spaces mag which is a fabulous read very inspiring// The new Daphne frilled crop tops available via Etsy soon// Tea Time

Today i headed into the Inspire Me gift shop and Tea Garden with a few dresses and wow what a great morning. The atmosphere was relaxed with lots of little garden nooks to drink tea, chat with some friends. I do think though i had a few to many of T2's Red green and dreamy, i'm not sure if thats even possible, but its going to take me all afternoon to wind down… Hope you've all had a great weekend :)

Fun in the Sun

Aaron went fishing on saturday, i was that exhausted from my 3 days at the day care there was no way i had an energy to go fishing as well. So instead the boys and i cruised around the spare block on the bikes until it got so hot that a play under the sprinkler was the only way to cool off! gosh i love the pic of Harry!!
Our Sunday started with delicious bacon and eggs for breakie followed by a little catch up bridesmaid dress sewing, which i can't wait to show you. Then we headed out to with some friends to Leaske Pools; a fun little water hole that has the occasional crocodile in it ;/, today however wasn't one of those days, the water was really clear and croc free… ahh so refreshing and a great end to a relaxing weekend!

Day Care

A little while ago i enrolled to do my Diploma in Childcare, this decision was made for a variety of reasons; the biggest being.. we have so many plans for our renovators dream home in Warrnambool, but do not want to move back to Victoria with out the funds to accomplish it :) so me working (only 2 days)enables me to help out even more financially and still have my little cherubs with me, win win for us really! soo today was my first day… i can't believe how nervous i was :p

the week that was..

This week has been a huge week of filling and posting off orders, painting Beach Dresses and running around after my little rascals. Louis had his first sleep over last night which was huge, for me not him! I knew I was going to be nervous I just didn't realise how much... but he is home now safe, sound and very tired :)

On our recent holiday I had the most quaintest dream about a reversible tutu dress... I've been so excited to get home and actually see if it would work and guess what it DID!! essentially its the same pattern as the Miss Molly dress with scooped neckline, gathered skirt and elastic waist but is now lined with the same fabric and has a tutu skirt attached. It really is so gorgeous, the tulle gives the skirt and extra fullness when worn the full floral way or you can turn it inside out you get a super cute tutu dress *insert love heart eyes*

//new tutu REVERSIBLE dress with my baby girl Betty who turned 7 last week// pretty parcels on their way around the world// Harry my mini munchkin

Hope you all had a great week and relaxing weekend

Mothers Day

Today was the mothers day market on Groote Eylandt, what a day! I think all of the tiny town turned out to see the lovely handmade goodies, stall holders had to offer. It was actually my most successful market, which yes! i'm extremely surprised about. I have been to countless small town markets and not sold anything so it was a huge surprise to sell not only 1 dress but 6!!I wish you could all see the silly grin I've had plasted across my face all afternoon :))

stayed tuned as all dress not sold will be listed on the etsy site soon...

New dresses

Great news guys I'm more motivated than ever to get back into the studio and create lovely dresses for all.. This week I've been working on a few Miss Molly's to have as ready to ship and maybe even make it down to the Mother's Day markets this weekend :)

nappi magic

ok so on our recent holiday something truly truly awful happened, my super cute reversible floral and pink dot dress, came under the attack of a texta with out!! a lid, and a blue one at that. I discovered it while we were at coral bay and was devastated, it had leaked right through both sides, at the back so I couldn't even fix it by putting a pocket over it :(

Howeverrr... also on this holiday my dads finance/now wife Nola introduced me to the art of soaking clothes!! I cant believe I have gone this long with out ever soaking a piece of clothing, and if I'm truly honest I don't usually separate whites from darks and ironing has only just recently become part of my washing routine as well. I know your all screaming ''haven't you ever seen a Nappi San ad on tv!!'' and yes I have I guess ive just never thought it would work, but guess what? it DOES.

I wish I had before and after pics because this stain was huge and now it literally vanished... amazing!! so now in true form I have set myself a little challenge to soak all of the boys grubby little shirts and see how amazing this stuff really is mwahahaha challenge accepted...

Last leg...

We passed over our last state boarder today back into the Northern Territory of Australia, having a quick lunch at the Devils marbles.

Fun along the way ;P

After a few crazy yet quite relaxing days in Darwin we headed home, back to Groote Eylandt to plan our next adventure...
