The new pad the "Sherbet Shanty"

Yay we moved all the big furniture into the new house today. It was such a great feeling finally being in Warrnambool and actually being able to see the house. Which until today we had never actually step foot in, we just purchased it from the internet.

She is definitely a little bit of a fixer upper which we knew upon purchasing, let's take the grand tour shall we...
// the front//

// lounge room, inclusive of velvet red carpet and hideous wall paper//

// hallways//
//bedroom 1 which I think will be the boys room//

// laundry and toilet//

//bathroom//

//kitchen!! And yep it's so 70's that it actually hurts my eyes ;p //

// bedroom 2 and new sewing studio//

// main bedroom//

All in all the house is actually structurally in great condition, it just needs a lot of cosmetic attention. Its also way bigger than what I was expecting, all of the rooms have these huge windows which allow heaps of natural sun light to filter through, which I'm loving. It has so much potential I just can't wait to get started.

Melbourne

Oooo very exciting! I had a little night off from mummyville and caught the train into the big city for dinner with my little big brother. Was so nice to dress up and relax for the night :) I do wish I'd packed a cardigan though, anyone who's ever been to or from Melbourne is probably laughing at me know how silly I was to trust the weather report and only wear a dress hehe

Louis 7th birthday

7 yes some how it's been Seven amazing years since this precious little soul arrived into our lives. As I'm writing this I'm still in shock my tiny little 6 pound baby is now 7! Having Louis has bought more joy into our lives that we ever have possibly imagined.

Making pretty dresses is my passion and I love to do it but making gorgeous babies is definitely what I was made to do. Being a mother is the hardest most fulfilling thing I believe you can ever do! Every step, every memory is something to treasure and love for a lifetime.

Aaron and I have been so blessed to have such perfect children, and I truly believe that they are perfect, or our definition of perfect anyway. They still do all the things that children "shouldn't do" and I swear the three of them think our lounge room is a 24/7 WWE arena. But that's what kids do, they cry, they make huge messes, demand constant supervision and attention. No one is born knowing what's right from wrong or how to pee into the toilet bowl and not all over the wall! (Other mums of boys your know what I'm takin bout!) or how to be be clean and tidy (that's something I'm still learning) kids will be kids and boys will definitely be boys. I love that it's my 'job' to spend everyday of my life teaching these little rascals all that I know and love. They are all my best and most favourite creations xx

//There's no better place to spend a 7 years olds birthday than at laser tag!! Gosh it was so much fun they even gave Harry (whose 2!) a vest and pack I think he actually managed to shoot me a few times //
