Australia Day

Happy Australia day folks.

So far we've had a great day celebrating this amazing nation of ours, we've been out for breakfast and a nice little stroll along the beautiful beaches of Warrnambool :) where i seen one of the best things i've seen in a long time; two women in their 40's rollerblading!! i know right i was so inspired! if women at that age can do it i can definitely do it!!

New weekly wears

Morning all, i hope you've all been getting the lovely weather we have been getting down here at the moment, its be devine! :)

So for all those that know me well, you know that i always try to make the extra effort to look nice while still remaining comfortable  (as i very rarely go anywhere without the kids) everywhere i go. Sometimes i get questioned, 'why do you always look so nice?' i'll usually respond with a 'why not?' Why not get up a little early to put in a little more effort? why not have enough self love to present yourself properly to make yourself feel fabulous inside and out? Its really not that hard to get up an extra 10mins earlier to fix your hair and put on a nice dress. Especially for someone like me who has a "small" addiction with buying pretty dresses ;) There is no point in saving them for special occasions as for most of us special occasions can be few and far between. So i say make everyday a special occasion, why not? what the worst that could happen? :)

My Dad also came for a little visit today on his way to New Zealand to see my grandparents. Its always so amazingly lovely to see him, he's one of the best people i know and is definitely responsible for instilling my deep love of the ocean and adventuring, love you dad X

So while he was here we went for a little adventure out to Killarney beach, and then for trek around Tower Hill where we actually seen a koala!! it was so cute just snoozing away up in the branches.

See look how adorable it is!!

Now I'm off to drop dad to the train station :( then its back to sewing and prepping for this weeks market :) happy week to you all!
